This annual paper summarizes environmental, health and safety issues that may impact SSPC members. This paper discusses current and expected regulatory rulemaking, emphasis programs, enforcement initiatives or other similar topics. This paper will include a review of OSHA’s new final Hazard Communications Standard. Most of the information is taken directly from the respective agency’s published regulatory agenda, supplemented by anecdotal information gathered from various professional journals, seminars and conferences.
