Abstract
Over the past 35 years in I have had the opportunity to witness the good the bad and ugly in the coatings business, primarily industrial and marine but in the last 15 years have included commercial and residential via the consulting, failure analysis and expert witness testimony endeavors.
The best way to describe “the good, the bad and the ugly is with photographs”, unfortunately most of my photographs represent the bad and ugly. I guess it is human nature to not take many pictures of the good unless you are entering a photo contest or want to show your client how well his project looks.
