I have been employed with the Sherwin-Williams Paint Company since September of 1983, when I joined the company after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing from California State University at Fullerton. Entering the Management Training Program (MTP), I was quickly promoted to a store manager position, then to a branch manager position of a commercial store, then joined the marketing department in March of 1987, where I was involved of the re-expansion of the company owned stores in the Western part of the United States. Receiving an MBA in 1991 from the University of Phoenix, I have since held several management and marketing positions with the company in the Southwestern Division of the Stores Group of the company.

In my current position of Product Manager, one of my roles over the last 7 years has been to work with our different markets in the division to direct the development of VOC compliant products for the South Coast and California Air Resource rule changes that have occurred in this time frame. Working as a liaison between the product development lab, the market, and the customer we have been able to develop VOC compliant products that complete the current Sherwin-Williams product line and deliver the quality our customers demand on an everyday basis. In addition to this role, I work with our Marketing, Human Resource, and Sales staffs on training programs for both employees and customers, sales development programs for our management and sales team, and complaint resolution processes within the Southwestern United States.
