Abstract
Ethics. What role does it play in our business today? When I think of ethical behavior, Dudly Doright immediately comes to my mind. As owners controlling the project, you set the stage for what level of behavior will be experienced on the project.
I’m reminded of a saying that I learned in a safety program which simply stated says “All of the personnel working for you will work to your minimum expectations”. Same goes for ethics and responsibilities, the contractors, coating suppliers and inspectors will work to your minimum expectations. Those that are in responsible charge will set the standards that all will follow.
