Mr. Woodruff has over 40 years of engineering, construction and plant maintenance experience. He was Corrosion & Coatings Program Manager for a top ten electric utility with over 40 sites in four states and 17,600 MW of power. He is now VP of Corr-Coat Consulting specializing in real and systematic corrosion problem solutions, and corrosion control program activities, budgets and implementation. He works with manufacturers, contractors, and large industrial owners. He recently completed working with a USAF contractor to implement a corrosion control and costs program. He is the author of “Setting up a Coatings Maintenance Program for Power Plants”, JPCL, 12/03 and “Costs of Delayed Coatings Maintenance (The Cost of Not Painting)”, JPCL, 12/04, and spoke at PACE 2005 on “How You Can Benefit from a Coatings Program”.

Mr. Woodruff was recently quoted as saying “The availability of sufficient funds for corrosion control and coatings seems always to elude us. This is our own fault as we have failed to adequately educate and inform others.
