The 400,000 square-foot Brain and Cognitive Sciences Center (BCSC) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts combines three different research groups to create a world-class brain research center. Designed to include both wet and dry laboratories for research, biology, biochemistry, neurobiology, and behavioral and cognitive research, the BCSC is intended to be a world class teaching and learning center. The building itself includes a multi-story day lit atrium defined by small meeting rooms, offices and seating areas for interaction among the scientists.
