Abstract
How do you protect a steel or concrete waste water structure with difficult access, an irregular shape, and carrying highly corrosive liquid from deteriorating? The answer is spray applied, thick film polyurethane waterproofing systems. These systems have succeeded in protecting pipes, bunds and secondary containment units from leakage and corrosion where others have failed. This paper will explain how a durable 100 mil coating can keep a structure watertight and protected for the duration of its service life.
