Technology for stabilization of paint prior to removal, during blast removal or after collection of paint residue and blast media reduces RCRA hazardous waste management, fees and high trucking and disposal costs. Certain solid waste handling, storage, sampling and TCLP testing requirements under RCRA remain regardless of stabilization method.
