Development of a ballast tank coating has its' challenges, providing a long term protective coating that can withstand the stress of operational life, whilst being applied in less than ideal conditions has always been the goal. On the whole this has been achieved by most major coating suppliers. So what is the next challenge? To assist the applicator and inspectors in applying a constant and error free coating.
