Abstract
Three mitigation methods for different types of interference caused by impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) system were studied through indoor experiments, including bond resistor, galvanic anode and metallic shield. The influences of bond resistance, location and material of galvanic anode, as well as location and connecting method of metallic shield on mitigation effects and stray current quantity were studied in the experiments. Based on experimental results, the applicable conditions and problems needed to be noted for different mitigation methods were proposed, which can be referenced in the practical operations.
