Abstract
With the increasing demand for offshore oil and gas exploration around the world, the seawater cooling attracts more attentions for the widespread offshore and coastal installations because of its immediate availability. This paper summarizes the corrosion and flow accelerated corrosion study of the selected coating candidates which may be used in the seawater cooled heat exchanger. Some alloys are also tested for comparison.
