Abstract
In this paper the derivation of two new causality factors like causality factor 2 and causality factor 3 used in electrochemical frequency modulation has been presented. Moreover, the ability of electrochemical frequency modulation (EFM) to monitor uniform and pitting corrosion for different corroding systems has been discussed. In most cases, EFM is found suitable corrosion monitoring technique with satisfactory comparisons to other corrosion measurement techniques.
