Abstract
Achieving effective Cathodic protection for buried pipelines inside the plant facilities is always a great challenge due to stray current interference and bare copper earthing (grounding) in Oil/Gas sector. Cathodic protection using closed distributed type CP system is an effective method for plant piping to achieve adequate protection against the external corrosion due to soil. This paper describes field study of Cathodic protection for a group of flow lines from oil field entering Gathering centers especially near the fence area using Continuous linear polymer anodes.
