Abstract
In 2006 a Round Robin study was conducted on a number of laboratory test methods listed in NACE TM0104-2004, TM0204-2004, TM0304-2004 and TM0404-2004 in order to establish the reproducibility of the test methods. The results from this study indicated that significant differences in results could be achieved between different laboratories testing the same coating systems.
This paper discusses the results from this study, including statistical analysis of the data generated, gives guidance on how laboratory test results should be interpreted and provides some suggestions for future test method development.
