Abstract
Practices used to minimize corrosion of seasonally operated HVAC equipment are examined. Preconditioning, shutdown, storage and start-up procedures will be discussed as well as intermittent equipment use. The latter may occur throughout the year or during early seasonal start-up conditions. Chemical and chemistry control, as well as, operational conditions and modifications will be provided.
