Abstract
Owing to strict environmental legislation the emphasis is being focused on development of naturally occurring substances as corrosion inhibitors. The available literature on corrosion inhibitors obtained from naturally occurring substances has been reviewed. The characteristic features of the investigations have been highlighted.
