Abstract
A large number of corrosion problems prevail in the pulp and paper mills owing to high alkalinity, acidity and bacteria and fungi etc. Along with a brief introduction to the process of pulp and paper manufacture, materials in use and the corrosion problems encountered, the current review describes the various types of corrosion and deposit inhibitors, as well as bactericides etc., used in the pulp and paper manufacture.
