Abstract
One gas transmission company is developing a comprehensive risk assessment model. This risk assessment model will incorporate several sub-models (modules) including a stress corrosion cracking (SCC) module and will be used in conjunction with an ongoing integrity program. An initial SCC prediction model was developed by means of a statistical analysis of an extensive dig database that was compiled prior to 1998. This model was later updated and partially validated with 1999 and 2000 dig data. This paper summarizes the development and validation of the statistical model.
