Abstract
Coating formulations for offshore platforms can be designed to tolerate a wide variety of environmental conditions and unique application requirements. Fast cure, low temperature cure, high impact resistance, and thermal cycling resistance are important characteristics for many offshore coatings. Unique epoxy resin systems have been developed for these requirements. This paper will describe these epoxy resin systems and present performance data to illustrate the benefits of using these systems in offshore coating applications.
