Abstract
Pipelines designed and installed using current technology easily meet or exceed today’s corrosion control standards. However, a majority of the pipelines in the world are much older and applying today’s standards and technology requires sound engineering practices, as well as practical and good common sense. The application of the 100-millivolt polarization is discussed.
