Fluoropolymer membrane systems installed together with acid-proof brick and mortar provide protection from corrosive chemical environments and withstand high temperatures that are generally beyond the limits of most common lining or coating systems. The potential of fluoropolymer and brick lined systems for chemical process industry equipment users is illustrated as this paper offers information relating to installation details, materials of construction and examples of process equipment application.
