Abstract
UNS S41427 has been in commercial production for five years. It has excellent processability and is capable of being heat treated to achieve 95ksi and 110ksi minimum yield variants with excellent toughness.
A corrosion test programme has been carried out on the 95ksi grade to study the behaviour of UNS S41427 in a number of environments and a comparison is made with other alloyed 13-17%Cr alloys.
