Abstract
This paper deals with the use of on-line corrosion monitoring technology as a means of providing operators with real time information regarding the corrosion status of plant and pipeline. Correlation between instances of corrosion activity and processing/operational conditions can provide a valuable insight into the effectiveness of corrosion control procedures. Comparisons between different corrosion monitoring technologies and their relative ease of implementation and effectiveness will be discussed.
