Abstract
This paper, An Overview of Today's Membranes and Membrane Processes, highlights recent advances in membranes, the processes in which they are used, and the applications that employ and benefit from this technology. Key developments ranging from ultra filtration/microfiltration, to nano filtration and conventional reverse osmosis are critiqued along with pertinent examples of processes and applications.
