Abstract
The vast majority of buried pipelines have been coated with specialised protective coatings. Usually cathodic protection has been applied, leading to a combination of protective measures. However, all coatings fail to some degree and when the failure becomes critical a pipeline has to be rehabilitated. This rehabilitation is usually carried out with compatible coating materials. Polyurethane and epoxy two pack coatings are mainly used to undertake this coating rehabilitation work.
