Abstract
The use and benefits of on-line pH measurement in the control of corrosion and deposit-related failures are discussed for industrial and utility steam generating systems. Also covered are the principles of operation and practical application of pH measurement and sensors, with a specific focus toward on-line measurement. The unique requirements for high purity pH sensors, temperature compensation and calibration are explained.
