This paper will discuss the current specifications, thermoplastic welder qualification methods and test procedures for thermoplastic weldments. A listing of numerous sources for thermoplastic specifications will be part of the presentation. This is recommended for engineers, designers, QA personnel, maintenance personnel and others that use, specify or inspect thermoplastic vessels, lined tanks or other thermoplastic assembles that require a weld.
