Abstract
Eletrochemical Noise (EN) and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) have been used as electrochemical tools, due to the high resistivity of the environment to determine at laboratory level the amount of protection against corrosion that a new polymeric concrete, developed by the Electrical Research Institute of Mexico, can provide. The information that these techniques offer as well as their advantages and disadvantages are also discussed.
