Abstract
In the past impressed current systems utilized offshore for retrofit purposes have experienced problems related to current distribution, reliability and service life. This paper describes improvements made in the design method, materials of construction and installation procedure for retrofit tensioned anode strings to provide an impressed current system which can be installed and operated offshore with some confidence.
