Abstract
A reliable completion was essential for three highly deviated and corrosive produced water disposal wells on Thevenard Island, located offshore Western Australia. After a review of the alternatives, fiberglass-lined carbon steel tubing was selected as the most cost effective system. This paper presents the qualification tests that were performed on large diameter tubing. In addition, the installation and performance history of the three water disposal wells are also covered.
