Two documents directly of interest to facility owners as well as manufacturers, installers, and specifiers of coating and lining systems for concrete are currently under development by two NACE Intemational/Steel Structures Painting Council (NACE/SSPC) joint task groups. These include a proposed standard for the “Surface Preparation of Concrete”1 and a state of the art report/technology update on the “Design, Installation and Repair of Coating Systems for Concrete Used in Secondary Containment"2.
