Abstract
This paper will discuss all elements that have moved Ultra High-Pressure (UHP) waterjetting into position as an accepted, and sometimes preferred, method for surface preparation; including: improvements in technology and equipment - development of new waterblast coating systems by major coating manufacturers, and advantages of the process - better coating adhesion/lower level of residual chlorides and sulfates.
