Abstract
Injection points for chemical treatments of refinery processes should be well documented to avoid improper installation and usage, as well as to assure plant personnel of protection from unwanted leaks and other possible mechanical failures which might otherwise occur. Logical steps should be followed that trace the need for, design of, selection, installation, commission, monitoring and eventually, decommissioning step in the life of an injection point.
