Abstract
Disproportion between the knowledge of atmospheric corrosion in outdoor and indoor conditions exists. The aim of this work was to specify basic aspects of corrosion in outdoor and indoor atmospheres, to define the decisive factors of the environment for corrosion in indoor atmospheres and to characterize the priority problems for the carrying out research in this field on the basis of experiences and results of realized tests and testing programs.
