Abstract
Polysiloxane resins, based on silicon chemistry, are formulated into a variety of coatings, linings, and surfacings which provide combinations of properties and characteristics which are not available from products utilizing older technology. A description of the chemical nature of these resins, the types of formulations available, some properties, and suggested end uses are given.
