Abstract
Field and laboratory exposure of various coating systems (type, thickness, surface preparation and ageing) have been undertaken to determine the future current requirement for cathodic protection of coated steel. For evaluation of results various mathematical models, theoretical and empirical, were used. The paper discusses prediction results versus test results. Some cost implementations are also presented.
