Abstract
New electro-chemical express-method of corrosion rate control at cathodic protection is presented. This method is based on the relationship between the corrosion rate and polarization resistance at protection potential. The results of cathodic protection in the sea water at temperature 60°C are presented and they fully confirm availability of method in practice. Also effectiveness of cathodic protection in the sewage is shown.
