The paper will provide a review of the corrosion performance of prestressed concrete cylinder pipe over the past 50 years. Specific areas will include the fabrication techniques for corrosion control, corrosion related problems which have occurred and implemented corrosion control techniques. Corrosion control methods which have been utilized include variations in manufacturing techniques, use of modified exterior coatings and cathodic protection.
