Abstract
The recent developments of high pressure and sour wells in the North Sea area have increased the need for high strength H2S resistant carbon steels. This paper deals with adapting a new C110 product for Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) in order to assure a minimum threshold stress of 85% of the Specified Minimum Yield Strength (SMYS), according to the NACE standard tensile test.
