Abstract
Electrochemical potential and polarization behavior measurements in the laboratory, plus zero resistance ammeter measurements made under laboratory and field conditions delineate galvanic behavior. These measurements, confirmed with electrode weight loss can predict corrosion rates for brass/carbon steel and stainless steel/carbon steel couples with and without corrosion inhibitor.
