Abstract
Hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR) has undergone extensive laboratory testing. These tests used lab samples/specimens for property changes after exposure to specific environments. The results indicated HNBR to be acceptable in H2S - CO2 environments. To validate the laboratory test results, seals were molded and performance tested. The performance test procedure and results are presented in this paper.
