Abstract
The Texas Environmental regulations for new large painting facilities requires the installation of VOC emission controls. Hockley Rail Car has placed into operation a new paint facility located at Hockley, Texas utilizing carbon adsorbtion for the efficient control and recovery of the VOC’s emitted from the painting operations. The recovered VOC’s are used as fuel in the boiler serving the facility.
