Abstract
Electrostatic finishing equipment is a proven process that has been around since the late 50's. These tools have evolved in 30 years to a high state-of-the-art. Electrostatic equipment is currently available that can routinely produce 60-90% transfer efficiency with the peak efficiency being 98%. The newest types of electrostatic gun use cascade power supplies in the gun barrel.
