Abstract
The performance of 5 different oil-soluble corrosion inhibitors for batch treatment in gas well was evaluated using the AC impedance techniques. The impedance measurements were carried out on an API N-80 carbon steel in CO2 saturated NaCl solution. The AC impedance data obtained were analyzed by various equivalent circuit models. The effect of temperature and inhibitor concentration on the corrosion inhibition have also been discussed.
