Abstract
In order to assist in the evaluation of the relationship between deaerator cracking and feedwater chemistry and operations, this paper presents a description of the testing frequency, analytical methodology and results from a plant which has experienced cracks in its deaerators. A special section is included on oxygen monitoring and typical data for process temperatures and pressures are graphically presented.
