Abstract
Seawater crevice corrosion behavior under marine fouling and man-made crevice conditions is discussed in terms of initiation and propagation behavior for a series of commercial and experimental nickel base alloys. Effects of alloy content and heat treatment on the morphology of attack incurred by the susceptible materials also are reviewed.
