Abstract
Paint blistering and calcareous deposits which fouled mechanical- devices in an internal shipboard sea water tank prompted investigations to mitigate those effects. A program of field measurements and a numerical corrosion analysis were performed to determine the cause and to indicate appropriate modifications to solve this problem.
