Abstract
A new organic oxygen scavenger for use in boilers is presented. It may be used as a safe replacement for hydrazine in high pressure systems as well as in lower pressure boilers. Laboratory and field studies are reviewed. Performance of the new scavenger is compared to hydrazine.
