Abstract
Selected results from Radian's 1981 Geothermal Component Failure Analysis Program are presented. The selected components are: (1) a failed turbine from a 10 MW binary power plant at East Mesa, California, (2) downhole pump bowls and impellers from a hospital heating system at Klamath Falls, Oregon; (3) drill pipe sections from the Hot Dry Rock Project at Fenton Hill, New Mexico; and (4) several components from a district heating system at Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
