Abstract
A new nonchromate cooling water treatment program has been developed. The program provides superior corrosion protection compared to previously available phosphate treatments, without the environmental hazards of chromate. A new deposit control agent allows the use of high orthophosphate levels without calcium phosphate fouling on heat transfer surfaces. Both research and field data will be presented.
